(4) Forget the direction of your plates. Place it on any direction and grind your piece in either V. Steel used in all the V-blocks and parallels is selected for the highest magnetic transfer and low retention of magnetic flux. Cast integrally with aluminum to insure the blocks will never crack or become loosened even when accidentally dropped.
(2) Adjustable Parallels have a wide range of uses in layout, gaging, inspection and set-ups. Parallels consists of two pieces which are dovetailed and slide for adjustment. One screw on smaller size and two screws on larger sizes lock in position. Adjust to size required by micrometer measurement.
(3) Angle Blocks provide a quick, accurate and direct method of checking or setting angles, in many phases of tooling, production or inspection. Ten blocks are furnished in one degree increments to five degrees, then five degree increments to 30 degrees. With the addition of the optional 1/4 and 1/2 degree blocks nearly any angle can be set.
Precision Blocks are extremely useful in mounting work for precision grinding, machining, layout or inspection. Blocks are precision ground on all six sides to a smooth and accurate finish. Holes are not drilled in order to eliminate the trapping of dust and dirt. The corners are not chamfered to push particle out of the way on your surface plate. These precision blocks are sold singly and measure 1" x2" x3" within ± .0001", making .0002" the maximum possible error exist between two blocks.
(11) The various surface roughness scales and comparators provide quick, positive comparison of production line parts. Eliminates inconsistencies inherent in conventional machining. Aids quality control inspectors and speeds production.
